Today in class, integrated classes debated whether the cars move at a constant or non-constant speed. They will have a lab due on Tuesday, which they received a writeup for.

Science 8 students reviewed quiz results from the River Quiz-KEY. Students did very well on retakes, but also found that the quality of their notebooks was highly correlated to the results on their quizzes. Afterwards, we graded the questions from the glacier reading yesterday (Massive Meltdown:Earth’s glaciers are melting into the seas at an alarming rate). Then student groups were asked to observe and write inferences about Ohio’s glaciation based on a map that was shown on the board. Most classes were able to infer that the glacier was from Canada and traveled southeast across the state. Students will continue to ask questions and investigate the glacial formations in Ohio on Monday on an online Glacier Activity.
