January 8

Today in class, students in the school had an adjusted schedule that shortened our periods for an assembly. Integrated science classes today traded and graded their reading questions on batteries, and then learned how to hook up an ammeter in a circuit. Period 2 was able to also begin taking readings of current when there are one, two, or three lightbulbs (resistors) in the circuit.

Science 8 classes spent some time finishing up their timeline of earth activities, and then began some notes on the history of thought on geology, and how the earth is shaped. Students also received a reading about “snowball earth“, which will be finished over the weekend.

HOMEWORK: Integrated =none
Science 8= finish Snowball earth reading questions, finish earth’s Timeline activity reading questions. (Periods 3 and 4 turned these in today).
