ROCKTOBER 6

Today, integrated science continued debating answers to the worksheet constant-velocity-particle-model-ws-2-qualitative-motion-maps-and-pvst-graphs  (Motion Maps Video for review). Students will also have reading questions tonight over Braking Bad: did defective technology cause a wave of accidents in Toyotas?
1) Draw a position vs. time graph of the motion that you think these people experienced. (Qualitative)
2) Now draw a graph of what you think their velocity vs. time graphs would look like.
3) DO you think the malfunction could have been caused by sticky pedals? Cite one fact from the article, or one reason you develop, to support your answer.
4) Evaluate the statement , “Human performance will always be the biggest factor in preventing accidents.”

Science 8 students traded and graded their relative-dating-practice  2  worksheet and spent some time reviewing their Moby Max. Tonight they have the Stratigraphy reading to study a bit (not all of the reading is covered on the test). Students should study their weathering and erosion idea webs, notes on stream erosion, and types of weathering (Weathering and Climate Module).
