ROCKTOBER 5

Today in integrated science, students worked on and presented solutions to the problems from the constant-velocity-particle-model-ws-2-qualitative-motion-maps-and-pvst-graphs worksheet. Students debated correct answers, and explored the model they will be using with motion Maps (Motion Maps Video for review), and they’ll continued to debate them tomorrow.

Science 8 today took some notes on relative dating using the Relative and absolute dating notes  . Students learned about 4 laws (superposition, cross cutting, inclusions, and original horizontality) that we can use to determine the relative ages of rock layers and events that happened in them. Students then began work on the relative-dating-practice  2 worksheet, which we’ll review tomorrow.
