Today in science 8, students finished their meiosis flipbooks (Meiosis Flipbook:quiz review). The students who did not finish theirs in class will need to turn them in for late credit tomorrow. Tomorrow, there will also be a quiz covering mitosis, and some of meiosis. Students will need to study the phases of mitosis, and know how to identify them by picture and be able to tell what is occurring in each of them.

Integrated science graded the Covalent Bonding Worksheet and the  Naming Covalent Compounds Worksheet. We spent some time reviewing how to do the Lewis Dot structures for the covalent compounds, and worked on the Naming Covalent Compounds Notes and Lewis Dot Worksheet.pdf  back side problems. Students will have have a quiz over the periodic table, atomic structure, and some bonding on Thursday.
