Students in integrated science today worked on the Motion Detector Lab and spent some time creating different models based on the model given to them. We will walk out the answers tomorrow at a motion detector, and then create problems for individual students to practice.

Students in science 8 used the Interactive Geology World Map website and the maps provided in the Discovering Plate Boundaries Lab to determine category characteristics and work on some reflection questions for the lab. Any remaining time was used to work on the annotations for the Science 8 Readings: Explainer: Understanding Plate Tectonics, Ocean of the Future: an East African desert will one day become an oceanVolcanic Rocks Can Quickly Turn into Stone , Australia is not as Down Under as you think

E/I worked on the  Organic vs. Conventional Farming Debate.

HOMEWORK: Integrated= Quiz Friday over V vs T graphs. Finish the Motion Detector Lab
Science 8= Students do annotations of readings (due Friday) annotation-scoring. Quiz Thursday over the plate-tectonic-theory Notes  (Other notes that are helpful are Plate Tectonic Theory  )
